The collection consists of letters and manuscript items written by Christopher Morley to his secretary, Elizabeth B. Winspear, primarily in the 1940's and 1950's concerning literary and personal matters with references to his alma mater, Haverford College. There are also letters of Winspear to Morley written primarily from San Francisco and Japan after WWII. She describes inhabitants and customs and meeting the author Etsu Sugimoto. There are also sonnets and other items which Morley signed as "Barclay Hall."
